Place your Knife Sharpener on an even, non-slip surface, make sure your knife blade is clean and dry. Guide the blade of the knife at an angle of 90° to the sharpener into the desired module at the slot. (If your knife edge is very dull, begin with slot #360, if you only require fine-tuning the edge, move the slot #1000. And slot #600 is great for daily maintenance.)

Hold the knife upright and pull it using light pressure straight from the base of the blade to the tip.
