Instruction for Use
Safe Use Mode
Switch the safety lever to middle position to use, the shears opening angle will be limited by the lock and will not be separated unintentionally, keeping you safe.
Separate And Reassemble
Switch the safety lever to the right position while keeping the shears closed by your hand.

Open the scissors to the disassemble position as shown. This should be done with 2 hands to prevent the blades from landing on your foot.
Gently shake and separate the blades.

To reassemble:
Keep the lever in the right position as when take them apart, put the blade back and close the scissors.
Move the lever to the middle position for use or the left position for store.
How to Spatchcock a Chicken
Prepping the Chicken
Remove any neck parts and gizzards. Rinse the whole chicken, inside and out and pat dry with paper towels. Place the chicken, breast-side down, on a cutting board.
Cutting Along the Backbone
First, cut along the right of the backbone from the tail to the neck. Next, cut along the left side of the backbone, just as you did on the right side.
Flatten the Chicken by Hand
Flip the chicken over and push the breast down by our hand until cracked. The chicken will stay flat.
That’s it.
Then, just season your chicken and place it either on the grill or in the oven. It should come out looking something like this.
Keep the shears clean and dry after use
Wash the blades throughout after separating
Get a clean cloth and wipe down the blades
Dry the blades in the open air
Contact with other metal dulls the blades, so donāt throw them in your utensil drawer. A knife block is a perfect place to store the shears. If they donāt fit in the block, keep them in a separate drawer away from the other utensils.
