Our pre-seasoned wok comes with a blue-grey natural protective coating to prevent rust and corrosion. By applying an intense high heat with natural oil treatment in the manufacturing process, our pre-seasoned woks are out-of-the-box nonstick and ready to use. Our wok is made from carbon steel and therefore reactive, so it wonāt stay blue – it will darken and patina as you cook. With proper seasoning, your wok will improve with age & use, developing a beautiful, black, non-stick patina and add authentic flavour to your cooking.

How to get woking
Follow our first use instruction on the packaging
Wash, dry and apply oil to your new wok
Fire up the stovetop
Cook up a storm!
Clean and care for your wok
Leave your wok to cool to warm
Rinse the still-warm wok with water.
Do not use any soaps or detergents
Remove stuck-on food with a nonmetallic scrubber if necessary
Rinse again and wipe it dry
Put it back on a low heat stove to completely dry up any residual moisture
Rub with oil for next use
